Bonfire Night is quickly approaching and at Sports for Kids we think it is so important that the children enjoy themselves whilst still having fun. So we have put together a blog all about how to keep the children safe this Bonfire Night.
We have put together a list of things that you can do to help keep the children safe this Bonfire Night. These things are:
Never let the children try and touch the fireworks, and make sure they are as far back when you are lighting them and whilst they are going off as possible.
If you are having sparklers, make sure they wear gloves and know where is the safest place to hold the sparkler.
If there is a bonfire, make sure they stay far back from it.
Make sure if you have any pets, you make sure they are safe indoors. There are radio channels that provide soft music for your pets to listen to so they aren't scared.
Make sure you and the children are wrapped up as it can get quite cold, gloves, coats, scarves and hats.
Make sure there is a parental guardian or a responsible adult supervising the children.
